Back to Blogging & Update

16th Jul 2013 Hello lovelies :) My god does it feel good to be able to sit at my laptop and not have to do an assignment or look over exam questions... i'm about 2 months late but WOO SUMMER, BABY!! What a year that was for me, this time last year I had NO clue what I was doing and spent most of my time either trying to convince myself that college is overrated- an education, Pfft, who needs it! or else frantically looking up random college courses... i'd be good at engineering, right...? Anyway, life has a funny way of working things out, after much sleepless nights and drunken cries...(with my friends, not alone in my room haha) I made the decision to start Nutritional Therapy in the College of Naturopathic Medicine. Oh, and because I am insane and a social life is for losers I decided to do first and second year together while working full time, just to keep thing interesting :P The most challenging, exhausting year ever and yet most rewarding- it's true when they say do what you love and you will never work a day in your life.

eatliveloveit, motivation, follow your dreams, college dropout

OK, Ash, enough with the 'follow your dreams' speeches, it's not even lunch time yet... do you want everyone voming in their coffee from all the cheesiness!?

I will be the first to admit that I have been a sham at blogging and keeping promises about posts (feel free to throw me a dirty look if you see me) It's easy to plan, when and what to blog but what is NOT easy is life making plans of its own. Right now the only thing I have on my to do list is to blog and make up for the last 8 weeks of Summer that I missed...(and possibly re-watch watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer from the beginning...) I know I promised gym/ body 'transformation' posts and they are still coming, just a little later than expected. TBH, I actually failed, miserably. I did it hardcore for 2 weeks and then I went in to a panic attack because I am a horrible procrastinator who leaves everything to the last minute and I spent the last 2 weeks with my head in the books. Oh and then I went to Italy for a wedding - like a literal Disney princess fairy tale wedding! (Kate if your reading this it was amazing and I hate you because I'm so jealous ;) So basically my diet for the week was pizza, cheese, bacardi, gelato and the odd peach here and there. Here's a few snaps :)

                Me and the Boyf!

Also, I didn't just bring home a suntan and hangover from holidays but also a COLD! (insert angry face here) I am never sick!!! How do people do this :P I would need to be hit by a bus to even consider taking an antibiotic- so I am battling it with all of my tips and tricks. It is so much better for your immune system if you can get over it yourself. I am planning on doing much more health related posts, considering that's what I am studying in college, so maybe my first one will be, 'You vs the common cold'... Light-bulb moment!!

Sorry this post was kind of a ramble and not really relating to anything haha! I just had to get back in to the swing of things and explain why I was so bold not posting! Talk to you all very soon :)
