Recipe; Breakfast Smoothie

Wouldn't life be great if it was socially acceptable to start the day with a Daiquiri- an ice cold, strawberry explosion, fueled with extra kick of 'magic' to get you buzzing (literally) for the day. Considering how drinking first thing in the morning is frowned upon in most societies, I like to start my day off with an equally delicious (but with less of a 'kick') Breakfast Smoothie. 

Ingredients: 

smoothie, breakfast smoothie, eatliveloveit
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1/2 cup juice of your choice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons low fat natural yogurt
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 2 tablespoons raw oats

Ready in:

  • 5 minutes

Directions:

  • Using a hand blender or a normal blender, put all of the ingredients together and press 'ON'- you literally cant do it wrong (unless you leave the lid off!)

***Tips
  • Leave out the oats for an afternoon snack or apre dinner dessert.
  • Add in protein powder for a post workout treat. 
  • Experiment with different fruits to make different flavors.
  • Add vodka to make it more fun (ha,ha-LOL JK)

BONUS: This is my go-to breakfast after a night out (or at-least the first course of it) The ingredients in this when combined are like the perfect hangover fighting machine- Give it a go!
